Eye Surgery:
Dr. Ionel Cohn trained as an ophthalmology specialist at the prestigious Gregorio Marañon University Hospital in Madrid, and assisted to the Cornea Department at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
He provides eye care in all the main fields of ophthalmology, but his main field of experience is the phako-refractive surgery, which refers to cataract surgery and the surgery using intra ocular lenses aimed to eliminate the need to wear glasses for distance and /or reading (presbyopia) .
Dr. Cohn's approach to every case is a very personal one, making sure the patient receives all the needed information about his or her case and that (s)he feels accompanied and safe throughout the entire treatment.
When coming as a patient to our Eye Clinic, you will have a complete eye check, including refraction, eye pressure, slit lamp examination and retinal evaluation. We make continuous efforts in order to offer you the best cutting edge eye care technology. Dentistry:
Dr. Carmen Cohn had her training at the prestigious Complutense University in Madrid. After finishing her pre-graduate studies, she went on and completed many post-graduate courses and masters among them she received special training in Endodontics and Oral Medicine and Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment super specialty). After that she was asked to stay as an Invited Professor at the Oral Medicine Master of her University, which she did during the 3 years previous to her decision to come and live in Lanzarote.
Patients coming to our Dental Clinic have a complete dental evaluation and an accurate diagnosis of their problem. Although this involves having one or several X ray exams done, the complete digitalization in our office lowers the total radiation to a minimum, a thousand times lower than the one received in an ordinary installation. The doctor will digitally document your case and explain to you the causes of your problem, will make a correct diagnostic and will discuss with you the best options. The gentle and friendly approach of the dentist is one of the reasons our patients come to us.
